  1. Who is Archipelago?

    Archipelago is a risk data company working to change how risk is insured. Our platform helps you and your insureds improve the quality of portfolio data (SOV) and power-up your marketing process via an intuitive digital platform.   3. What kind of accounts are best suited for the platform?

    Since our public launch in August 2020, we have $2.3T (and growing) of unique property TIV on platform (as of April 2021), covering a wide range of real estate classes (offices, industrial, hospitality, health care, housing, and more). Regardless of whether your insured is a middle-market account or a risk management behemoth, and have assets in Alaska, Florida, or London, you will be able to fully leverage all the benefits our platform has to offer.
  4. What are the cost and process considerations for getting my insured on Archipelago?

    We are an approved vendor of Gallagher with dozens of insureds already on platform. There will be an annual subscription fee (at a privileged rate for Gallagher) based on the TIV size and number of locations in your insured’s portfolio. Simply contact us via the Getting Started form, and we will provide an estimate within 24 hours of receiving your information.

    If you choose to work with Archipelago, the standard onboarding process for a new insured takes about 4-6 weeks, and we recommend getting started at least a month in advance of going to market for an upcoming placement (the earlier the better). Our team will handle the onboarding, and you will have a dedicated account manager to help you through the process.
